This was around 9 PM the other night. I was talking to my sister on the cell phone when I realised I had to take a picture of the bell tower before I would loose all light.
Have returned to the place I’ve called home for the last 10 years and am feeling just a tad better about things. I’m sure this will not be the case all of the time during the next few weeks/months – but for now I am at least not crying over the keypad.

The light is just lovely. I’m glad you have a place to regroup.

Jenn – actually, I’m back in the countryside where I’ve lived the last 10 years… I believe the state we’re in is called detente (with an accent acute or grave some place) when it’s about two countries.
Mary Alice – I am. I am. Inbetween the times when I fall apart. Those moments become fewer though and once I know where I’m going to be living it’ll feel so much better.

I love this picture. I am not an overly religious person but I love pictures of churches like this. Can’t wait to see pics of your new place!

I’m the least religious person you’ll find – but I LOVE OLD churches.
