… I’m beginning to not like this, at all, at all!
Forgot my appointment calendar at home this morning, but since “I didn’t have any important appointments today” I didn’t bother turning around to get it.
Ah yes – a few hours later I had a call from the dentist’s office… I was supposed to be their with one of the teenagers for a check-up. The nurse very graciously offered to cancel our appointment AND the interpreter and re-schedule for the middle of January. I just absolutely hate it when I mess up someone else’s planning like this!
Phone call from a union member who is facing lay-off and needs help NOW. However, she’s not working as a teacher these days and I need to read up on the agreement she works under.
Lunch. Leftovers from the other day to be nuked at work. Just a slight problem here – I drop the ruddy container because it’s too hot to handle! I end up eating Ramen noodles for lack of anything else.
Preparation for a round of negotiations at the beginning of next week. I have a really bad feeling about this – I don’t like the information our employer has given us so far.
Staff meeting in the afternoon. Same as usual – a few die hards who enjoy hearing their own voices hogging the floor. Or maybe it’s just that I’m running out of patience…
Quick visit with the teenagers to remind -B- about our appointment with a case worker on Wednesday.
Have I started packing yet???
You must be kidding – I’ll be doing that as the cab pulls up in front of the apartment block!

I saw almost the exact same motif just outside work, but couldn’t get away to take a few pictures…. Aaargh!
