The staff at the Vancouver Aquarium know how to display all species in ways that make them look spectacular. The blue background really made the jellyfish stand out. I’m just sorry I didn’t take a lot more pictures of them!
Back from a gruelling trip to the coast again today. Same decision as the one received last week, but it feels as if -H- may stand a chance to get another answer on appeal. I just marvel at how he could still smile and laugh a few hours later when we returned to town… Myself – I feel run over, drug out and as if my head is wrapped in cotton. Time to go to bed with N*ocitran, clad in military issue long underwear. Good thing no one else need to behold that!
I love the jellyfish too–we have the Stephen Birch Aquarium here and they are just mesmerizing.

We are getting a lot washed up on our beaches at the moment.
Two of the varieties are harmless but one called ‘Lions Mane’ has a very nasty sting. Its a bit tough for the swimmers.
I feel sorry for ‘H’. But puzzled that they let him into the country as a refugee but them deny him permanent entry?

Merinz – I’m going to write a longer piece about the Migration Policies and the laws behind it. It’s not entirely fair for me to rail at their decisions without trying to explain the thoughts behind them…

I look forward to your explanatory piece, because it really doesn’t make sense to me.
Jelly fish are indeed mesmerizing to watch, even if they did once ruin a swim at a Florida beach.
