I went out this evening to pick some mountain cranberries for my uncle who can’t get out in the bush himself. So what happens?
I see a loon not even 5 meters from shore!
I left the camera at home since I had my hands full with the berry picker and a pail + Loki on the loose – so no picture of the loon. The one above is the only one I have of the berries – better ones will appear in a day or two!
This one from the other night at the lily pond. This tree was already broken off once before when a storm this past winter did a number on it again – but it still has branches full of leaves. Amazing!
I’m sorry about the loon picture. I have a cassette tape of classical music “voiced over” by loons. It’s relaxing, when I’m not laughing hysterically over it.
I like that second picture. Even when broken down in the storms of life, we can still be useful … whether that is providing beauty or just proof that life goes on…

It is so beautiful there. I really love getting a glimpse of all the beautiful scenery you enjoy. Thank you.

KC- That picture is very special to me – broken twice and still alive – it could almost be an illustration of my own life over the past few years… More about that later, in a longer post.
Mary Alice – It makes me happy when I can share what I see and experience with others who can appreciate what I see in my camera… Thank you!
